This app collects and processes the following information to provide speech practice services:

Your email address and username (paid accounts only; the free tier is fully anonymous and no data leaves your device)
Your birth year for age-appropriate content (paid accounts only)
Audio recordings of your voice exercises — only on paid accounts and only when you have opted in to scoring. Audio is never transmitted off your device without your explicit opt-in.
Exercise completion data and progress tracking (paid accounts only)
Scheduled exercise times and reminders (paid accounts only)

Payment Information: When you subscribe to a paid plan, your real name and payment details are collected and processed by our payment processors (Stripe for web, Google Play for Android). We do not store your payment information directly—it is securely handled by the respective payment platform.

COPPA Compliance & Children's Privacy

In accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

Free tier: The free tier is fully anonymous — no account is created, no email address or birth year is collected, and no data of any kind leaves your device. Children under 13 may use the free tier without parental consent because no personal data is collected or transmitted.
Paid accounts: Paid accounts require an email address and birth year, which constitute personal information under COPPA. We use the credit card transaction required for paid subscriptions (via Stripe or Google Play) as verifiable parental consent for users under 13.
All features that collect personal data (audio recording analysis, progress tracking, scheduling) are restricted to paid accounts only.
Parents can request to review or delete their child's information at any time by contacting support or using the in-app delete account feature.

AI Processing & Audio Transmission

Sending audio recordings to third-party AI services (Google) for scoring and feedback is opt-in only, even on paid plans. Audio is never transmitted off your device unless you have explicitly enabled the scoring feature in your account settings. When scoring is enabled, recordings are sent securely and are not permanently stored by AI providers. You can disable scoring at any time and your audio will remain on-device only.

Not a Medical Device

This app is a wellness and practice tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition. This app is provided for self-directed practice and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are working with a licensed speech-language pathologist or healthcare provider, please discuss whether this app is appropriate for your goals.

Data Storage

Your profile, exercise history, and progress data are stored securely in our database. Audio recordings may be temporarily stored for processing but are not retained long-term. Custom content you add is retained until you delete it or drop tiers.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal data
Request deletion of your account and data
Opt in to or out of AI scoring and audio transmission at any time
Export your exercise history

Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of transmitted data.

Data Retention

We retain your profile and exercise data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, though some anonymized analytics may be retained for service improvement.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app, and continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
